Ah yes, our licence plate slogan says it all: Beautiful British Columbia. Just take a look at what kind of crap we have around our beautiful province’s parks…
Serpentine Headwaters Park
Friends of mine live by this wonderful park in Surrey. It is really a great example of a West Coast rain forest, and it’s in the heart of an urban area. Sadly, even it has been touched by crap…
Douglas Taylor Park
While out for a walk in Douglas Taylor Park, I noticed how some people don’t give a shit about our parks. Is this a trophy? Decoration? Or maybe it was supposed to be used for target practice.
Sumas River Dyke Trail
These were just disgusting. We smelled the dead salmon way before we came upon them on the walking path along the trail. Some angler didn’t want these I guess, and had thrown them aside. I can only think of a few things more disgusting in smell than rotting fish…
This crap-fest was also along the Sumas River Dyke Trail. These people had all kinds of heavy-duty equipment, old trucks, etc. on their property. Their dogs were barking at us like crazy, and because it was a nice day, the owners were sitting outside. Sadly, I couldn’t really get photos of more of their crap, since I didn’t want to have them turn their dogs on me. Most likely they would have thought I was scouting the place out because I wanted to steal some of their CRAP!
