The following images and galleries are all of crap I’ve seen while south of the border. Our American neighbours are definitely competing with us when it comes to the amount of crap littering the highways, byways, and neighbourhoods of their great country.
Birch Bay, WA
Birch Bay is a resort community that back in 1970s was a booming little hive of activity, filled with Canadians. Now it is very quiet, and compared to its Canadian neighbours like White Rock and Crescent Beach, Birch Bay is nearly a ghost town.
There is a great British Pub in Birch Bay that my friend and I like to go to. On a recent trip I was intrigued by the amount of crap littering the beach. What really made me curious, was that the majority of this boating crap, was on a private beach that belonged to the Idi Esse condos.
Now if you’re going to claim a portion of the Pacific Ocean beach front for yourself, wouldn’t you have some pride in ownership? Why is the private beach of the Idi Esse condos the one littered with all this crap?
While I was defiantly walking on the private beach of the Idi Esse condos, which BTW look like town houses to my eye but whatever, I was buzzed by this rather odd drone. I don’t know who controlled it, or what they were really looking at, but it did go after some rather startled ducks.
Oh, and what’s this? Where exactly is the brown water coming from? It’s draining into the Pacific Ocean just beside the private beach. I don’t know why the water is brown, but I’m pretty sure I don’t want to go swimming in this water!
